Default INTERCO TrXus Mud Terrain Tires

Anyone use these tires? how do you like them. Do they really have a smooth, quite ride like the descripition says on the quadratec site.http://www.quadratec.com/products/92610_3XX_PG.htm

I am looking to get the 33x12.50R16LT on my stock 2dr wrangler. WIll these fit with out a lift? I want to eventually get a 2.5 inch lift, but I can't afford it atm.

also I drive about 240 high way miles a week. Are these tires so knobby that I will just wear the tred down driveing that far every week. Don't wana throw away my money.

thanks

Don't know much about those tires....They look nice.

As for Fit... 33"s fit fine with no lift. the problem that you will run into is the 12.50 width. You will need either 1.5" spacers or new wheels with different backspacing. 4.0" would work.

If you get Steel wheels that aren't too fancy ( $50 each) it might actually be cheaper then the spacers. (approx $300 to include the spare) If you like the stock rims, get the spacers.

They are a softer rubber so they do grip nicely. I think if you rotate them every 3000 you can get like 30,000 miles out of them. I put them on my sons TJ and I was impressed how quiet they are for an MT. They were about $100 cheaper per tire than my Toyos that will supposedly get me 40,000 so I would say its a wash anyway. I think they are nice looking too!

I would recommend them.

I actually do plan on getting the black cragars. How do you know what width to get, the 7, or 8 inch. WIll the stock fender flares wide enough to keep it legal on the road?

thanks!

I had em on my TJ,.... AWESOME TIRES!!!!! lasted 30,000 miles before i sold it and they still had plenty of tread left on em... that was with a five way rotation thought. Either way, they were super quiet, were awesome in snow and ice, decent in rain... all around a great tire and it has a great price too.

My tire guy recommend 8" for a 12.5" tire.

Those are 33"x12.5 x 15 on Procomp Alloys. The lift is a 2"RE BB. We still have an 1.25 Body Lift and Motormount lift to do. Just cant seem to ever have a day to do it. I have all the parts.

Anyone put these on stock 7.5" wheels?
Darn, the "33s" are really 32.6. I hate that. I'd be much happier with more height and less width.

****Edit****
I just looked at Interco's sight and it seems the 33 is at least 33 inches tall. I swear it was only 32.6. I guess I was wrong. I also noticed they're over 70 pounds
