Default IPAD mount, something different and free.

Took two pieces from my kids erector set and an old door hinge. Ended up working perfectly and has been great for the past 2 weeks. I have the defender case that has the hard cover. I mounted the other half of the door hinge to it so all I have to do is remove 1 pin and the iPad mount disconnects. The iPad slips in and out of the case top so I don't have to leave it in the jeep. I still need to paint the bracket and hinge. I have Bluetooth so no wires needed to be run.

Did some wheeling with it yesterday, stayed on the whole time. The screen did start auto rotating on some hard bumps, easy fix though. Just turned that option off.

That's a great idea! I may do something similar this weekend.

Hope it works out for you, I had some time on my hands a few Mondays ago and got to playing with different ideas. This turned out to be the best, easiest, and least damaging to the jeep.
