IPF H4 headlight install
just installed the IPF headlights last night. I don't know if it is because the lights are 10X brighter than before or if i installed them wrong, the lights seem to be aiming higher than before. I did not make any notes as to where the lights wer before.do i need to aim the headlights differently or no. I made the assumption based on the project-jk write up they were a simple swap. BTW this was an easy mod and one of my favorites so far. I can drive w/o the fogs on now and the high beams kick ass. Next weekend i get to install the IPF 968 7" lights on the windshield!!!!
it's very possible they are high. this write-up should help you verify and adjust them as necessary:

I had to adjust mine down a bit. I had adjusted my stock lights after adding my lift and tires, I think it's like 38" high at 25' away. I marked a spot on the wall to mark where they lined up before I removed them. After I installed the IPFs, their light pattern was about 2-3 inches higher than stock. This was from a distance of about 6 feet. As you can guess, that would have a pretty large impact from further away. I adjusted them to the mark I had made on the wall, and all has been great since. I would recommend setting them to about 38" from a 25' distance. Also, the passenger side can be aimed about an inch or 2 higher and typically is in order to illuminate road signs.
When I installed my hella lights they were high, the adjustment screws on the 10 o clock position on the passenger side and the 2 o clock position on the drivers side will adjust the beam height.
