I saw an idea for a cb mount that could work with some iPhone cases. They unbolted the bolt on the drivers side of the grab handle for the passenger. Then made a small bracket that got pinched behind it when bolted back up. Then just stuck the cb holder there. I don't have time right now to look for the thread but I'm sure its in the CB section somewhere. Maybe I can find it a little later. It would probably work for a phone holder of any kind though. It would be in a great location too. Out of the way of the radio and vents but still in perfect reach and view of the driver.

Hey guys I have to apologize for the cell phone comment. It did touch a nerve here and I had no business making the comment. It was a stupid assumption on my part. Sorry!

I believe that if you are not capable of driving and talking on a phone then you should probably never have passengers, a radio, other people on the road, or even a drivers license....but what do I know....just learn to drive!

I like these ideas, I've been looking for a way to mount my iPod/iPhone to have my music handy and easily manageable (while at RED lights!!)

Thanks for the good ideas!

I used the belt clip that came with my Otterbox case and screwed it to the bracket I bought from Toad.

Search the web for Cool Tech LLC, then find the Versamount 2 for 2011 up.

Default Lifeproof Case With Go Pro Mount

Get a Lifeproof iPhone case. They are dust, shock, waterproof cases plus they make a go pro mount.

Dont forget about ram-mounts

They make mounting solutions for police/ military and other emergency svc

I have been installing them in all the rides i own. U can build the mounting system and just buy the parts u need for the type of mounting u want. Kinda like buying just the lego peices u need to make ur design without having to pay for parts u dont need.

I have the tuffy radio security shelf and i mounted my ram mount pda holder to both sides of it for me and my passengers phones.

I have a bracketron bracket. I then mounted a cheap hard case to it. No drilling required. Uses head unit screws to secure it. Pic of setup using iPhone.haha
