Default Issue with 35's rubbing...

Sorry, I'm sure this question has been asked before but I'm on the site with my cell phone and searching is tough. I dropped my Jeep off at Town fair to get my 35's mounted. They called to say it was rubbing. I'm assuming it must be the factory skid plate for the front bumper. Does that sound accurate? I haven't gotten a ride down to pick it up yet, I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect. The jeep is an 08 Wrangler X 2 door with a teraflex 2.5 inch BB lift and 15" Pro Comp wheels with 4.5 inch backspacing. The tires are 35x1250R15 BFG's. Also will the spare fit? Thanks you in advance, sorry for my lack of using the search...

most likely at near full steer left or right its hitting the stock plastic skid thingie and maybe the frame on the back part of the fronts. Watch the rear brake lines and also the swar bar links, those can be shifted to the inside.

Sorry to rephrase the las part of my question, will the 35's on that wheel combo fit on the stock spare tire carrier.

yes the spare will fit and as far as rub, as stated probably at full lock... still very driveable

They could mean the 15" are rubbing on the brake calipers. I've heard that for a 15" rim you would want 3.75" bs. Just a guess.

Awesome, thanks. I guess I need to just go pick it up and see what's rubbing.But if it is that plastic skid plate thing I'll just rip it off.

As far as the rims rubbin the calipers, the wheels were on my Jeep with 33's before so I don't think that's what is rubbing but thanks. This site is the best.

then you should be good. The spare should fit fine. Might have to trim the rubber stops if anything
