for 35's! I'm joining the club. I'm looking at getting some Maxxis Bighorn 315/75R16's. From all the reading I've done, they seem to be a pretty good investment. My JK is my DD, but I'm stationed near the Sierra Nevada's, so I need a tire that can handle it. Anybody had any experiences with these tires good or bad? I'd like to know before I get them put on. Thanks!

Great tire for the money. Don't know what the prices are now, but mine were about $100 less per tire than km2 or mtr/k. They hum at highway speed, but not obnoxious. Wearing well. Good road manners. Good on the trails. Decent on slick roads, 'for an aggressive tire'.

A few things that may be negatives - The sipes are very shallow, so if that is important, plan on paying to have it done again. And they are fairly short. Mine measure out to about 33.5" sitting under my jk-u.

For the money, you could do a lot worse.

Good to know thanks for the feedback! I'm just ready to step up a little bit from the tires I have on now. I got a pretty good deal on them, but I think they're backordered, still haven't seen that they've shipped
