Default J30 Recall and Superchips Programmer

I just received my letter via snail mail for the J30 recall. Transmission fluid overheating and Hot Oil Message. My question is more concerning my Superchips, do I just plug back into my port and select stock tune setting before I bring in the Jeep to get flashed? Is that it? Thanks in advance.

Yeah I am going to do it, I was just wondering if selecting the stock tune on my Superchips is all I have to do?

Yep, just set it back to stock tune and you should be good.

I just called them and all the recall is a flash for your onboard computer to display hot oil, that's it. I just wanted to make sure I am back to stock and SC tune is removed before the flash.

I guess my concern will be; will I be able to SC flash it again and still have the Hot Oil light, I think I;ll recheck SC and see if they already have the upgrade programmed.

Nothing. You have a 6 speed. You will not get the recall.
