Default Jack mounting

Does anyone know where I can get mounts for a jack that will hold it going HORIZONTALLY across the back of my tire carrier (like inbetween the spare tire and the back door/window)?

Not with the stock tire carrier I haven't. Not sure if there is enough room, or if it would be safe with the window there. Seen some horizontal ones on the outside of the tire though and some on the sport bar and vertical ones on the stock bumber to the right of the spare.

I dont know the company but i saw one that mounts to the 2 inch reciever and that would also keep your center of gravity down.

Which one do you have? I made one for my Rugged Ridge. I can send you some pics if you're using the RR.

It really depends on the tire carrier. Some brands come with a hi lift mount already on it (ACE, Rancho, LOD - I think, to name a few). If you bought one that doesn't have one you might have to fabricate something or buy an add on for another carrier (there's a body armor hi-lift mount that can honestly be attached to any other aftermarket tire carrier. Just need to drill and tap some holes)

Have you thought about mounting it inside between the roll bars to keep it out of the elements?
