Thanks for the pics I undersand that the intake system is far more complex than just a hole in the hood. I have a few design ideas in mind that will function similarly but I need the external scoop first. Anyone work at a machine shop want to help me out?

I like the looks of the scoop, but it is clearly designed for desert conditions.
