Quick update, I notice the body roll is twice as bad going down hills so now I'm leaning towards shocks being the problem, seems like when the weight shifts to the front of the jeep I end up getting problems steering problems.

I'm in a similar boat as you... My JK has good days, and it has bad days. On bad days, the thing is a handful on the highway. You hit expansion joints, and the front end wants to take off into the other lane. Or it gets this unsure back and forth bobble motion like something is inducing steering input.

I just replaced shocks last night, so I'm seeing how they do over the next few days. I've got dag-link and tie-rods coming in the mail today. I'm already running Moog ball-joints. And I have a new steering stabilizer coming next week. I'll let you know if I can get it figured out...

Quick update on my symptoms with the steering. After installing the synergy ball joints I experience a every stiff steering response, I also got memory steer that made it almost impossible to safely drive the jeep on the highway.

Two days ago I took the jeep to Rausch creek and beat the snot out of it did several blacks and blues, and to my amazement the ride home was PERFECT! So I guess the rumors are true, the synergy ball joints definitely do require a break in after install.

Thanks to everyone that have some input. Happy jeepin
