Default Jeep wanders since tire upgrade

Just went from stock tires to 35" trail grapplers on 18x9 XD addicts. Now it wanders and follows ruts in road real bad to where I have to really concentrate to keep it between the lines. No issues with stock tires so I have to assume its the new tires. Is it the width? Air pressure? Or do I need adjustable controlling arms I keep hearing about. Thx.

How much air pressure are you running? I have the same tires and run 30 psi on the street. Also if you haven't done so make sure you get an alignment

They were originally at 35 when I got them. I bumped them up to 45 (since they are E rated 65 psi) thinking that would help but haven't drove it since I did that. Also I heard you can't align jk's without adjustable control arms or cam bolts. Ant truth to this?

I will try dropping my pressure. Thanks.

I had the same, check your caster and adjust it to 7 or 8deg positive inclination (I hope you have adjustable control arms, if not you might want to consider upgrading the upper once)

You're going the wrong way, refer to the suggestions above.

Correct.
You will need adjustable trackbars to center the axles.
Either adjustable control arms or the dreaded cam bolts to adjust the caster.
And adjustable ball joints to adjust the camber.

Yeah, from stockers to 35's means your toe-in is now not correct. It's probably more like 1/4" instead of 1/8".

when you drop the air pressure, check your tire foot-print pattern using chalk line test.

It'll help keep your tires wearing evenly.
