Default Jerry can mount question

Hi,
I'm new here and I don't know where this question goes so I'll leave it here.
I just installed a trail rack on my jk and I want to get a jerry can mount to install on the back. Is there a mount that I can get that does not require drilling into the body of the jeep?
I'll drill into the rack, but I don't want to leave holes in the body.
Thanks,
steve from new jersey

Steve--If you update your profile with information about your Jeep (bumpers, lift, tires, etc), that will help folks provide you a better answer. In general, the jerry can racks are designed to fit on specific bumpers/trail racks. But, some folks are mighty creative and have done on their own what the vendors never had in mind. On top of that, several folks have mounted a jerry can to the spare tire--best if you have an aftermarket tire carrier or have beefed up the tailgate and stock tire carrier.

Check out Expedition One's Gerry cans. They mount anywhere with cargo straps and don't need brackets.

Just checked Expedition One's site... they say: "***Due to new EPA regulations, FUEL packs are not currently available for sale in the USA but may be shipped outside of the US. We are in the process of tooling up our machinery to make the new EPA compliant cans, please watch our website for updates on availability."

Rotopax has a nifty product that wraps around the spare and holds their cans.

You can get something like this and drill and mount it to your trail rack. I've seen them at hardware stores, on amazon...lots of places:
