Jerry Cans
Really. Why am I having SO much trouble trying to find a jerry can/rack for the JK? I am looking for the one that has two cans, one on each side of the spare with the rack on top. Can't seem to find it anywhere.
I do not want one where I have to have "their" bumper.
Any help or ideas????
Thanks!

I don't think anyone makes one that will fit "any" bumper and I wouldn't advise putting one on that attaches to your stock tire mount or tailgate. Putting two Jerry cans full of fuel would add more than 80 lbs to your tailgate plus whatever you put on your rack plus your spare would equal disaster.
i run an lod bumper and got it with the jerry can mounts and trail rack....

The flat gas containers like rotopax can be mounted in front or in some cases behind the spare tire. I'm running the military style Nato Containers but to be California CARB compliant the MFG (Wedco) uses a threaded cap. "Unlike the standard jerrycans, the CARB compliant Petrol jerrycan features a threaded mouth." Which sucks and actually does spill so not sure I'd recommend those.
Best mounting for the Jerry Cans is with a Jerry Can mount of some sort (see WOL links).
*update*
After using there "plastic" spout I'd have to say this thing doesn't leak while fueling only leaked on me when on the mount and running off-road but I found the cap wasn't too tight either so I'll hold off my distaste for the Wedco CARB cans for a while.
