Default ?? Jerry cans

so iv searched everywhere for an easy solution to store jerry cans but cant seem to find one. seems like the only way is to buy a roof rack or a rear bumper with mounts. these seem like pretty pricy solutions to hold a 50 buck jerry can.
any one worked something out ?

thanks

im in the same boat as you

if you bought the 5 gallon version your options are a bit more limited.

i was trying to find a way to mount them im the side but they are too thick and would stick out too far.

ive seen one person mount it low by the spare (not the rack that holds the 2 cans like wayoflifes) but lower like it was resting on the bumper.

but either way your probably going to have to fab something up yourself

I saw a JK at a 4X4 store that had a Jerry mounted on both fron 1/4 panels that looked very very cool... I dont know how it was done though. Maybe he fabbed a hanger that goes over the lip of the engine compartment, under the hood. I think the walls of the 1/4 panel would be too weak to hold a loaded Jerry Can with just rivets or screws.

Seen one of those break in three different pieces with a 48" jack on it. Keep an eye on all that plastic, cheap bolts and thin metal retaining the upper part of the jack...
