I'm thinking about getting a jet chip for a 2012 jk and would like to get some input as to whether its worth it or not. Thanks for the help

 

I would pass on it and just get a programmer.

 

Check out the DiabloSport. I'm happy with mine.

 

I had the Jet chip on my old CJ and was not happy with it, I had it replaced twice. Jeep wouldn't start. Customer service was awesome but I did not notice any improvement in milage or HP. I have used other "Chip/programmers" with good luck. I had the Edge kit on my TJ and was very happy, also the little MAP adjuster for my other TJ worked well for minimal $$. For my 2012 I am going to look at one of the new tuners like the one noted above.

 

I've had a stage 2 chip that I got a whole ago and just never installed.... I never did my exhaust yet and still need a 180° t-stat

 

How much hp if any will I get out of a programmer?
