Default Jet Chip Install---Stupid Question

Okay guys/gals, don't be too hard on me here. The Jet Chip is a simple install, I know, but I ran into an issue and need help.

Is there a proper way to remove the harnesses for the install? In other words, do I have to remove only the third harness or do I have to remove all of them before installing the chip in the third position?

Other than the red locking clip on top of the harness, is there a lock or clip that has to be depressed or something? The harness will come off anyway, but it results in the two plastic pieces on the bottom breaking off.

Like I said, I know this is easy and I'm actually embarrassed to ask. Please don't tell me RTFM or to do a search. I've done both and can't find the answer. Thanks in advance for your help! HBC

Only The 3rd Check Make Sure You Undo The Clip So U Don't Break It

Suggest U Put Some Di Electrical Grease Or How Ever You Spell It

Will Keep Her Dry And Help Protect From Erosion On The Ctcs

Default Push the center of the black harness...

I had the hardest time figuring out how to remove the connectors as well... the trick is to pull out the red clip as far as possible, it should be only visible on one side when you have it pulled out. THen, grip the black plug and press the center of the lower part of the clip. keep trying, and you'll find the magic spot that makes it just about fall out.

Once you've felt it, you'll know how to do it on all the clips (the one on the hard-top for the wiper stumped me for a week!).

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I'll see if I can't find some electrical grease as well. HBC
