Default Jet chip vs. Warranty

Hello all
Just curious will installing a jet chip void the warranty? Thanks

There's no hard and fast rule on what will or won't void your warranty. It's largely subjective from dealership to dealership, but if they try to deny a warranty claim based on aftermarket modifications/add-ons, they have to PROVE that the modification caused the problem they're denying.

How about unplugging the chip, see if the problem is still there and if so, leave it out when you bring it to the dealer.

That what I did, takes all of five minutes.
