Give us some details about your JK: year, model, auto/manual, and gearing.

Bare minimum:
C gussets should be welded
If you take it offroad, think about sleeve or trussing sooner than later.
Check ball joints, upgrade to Synergy BJ if needed.

Regear depends on your current setup, motor, and current gearing.

Give me a shout any time for pricing.

the rears are the same. The fronts are either dana44 or a dana30. They are almost identical except the housing size, wich can be a pretty big deal depending on gears and tires you plan to run.

The tube and c strength of an oem d44 and d30 are the same, so you will want to reinforce either one one of them. The D44 rubicon has a larger ring and pinion which is stronger, this becomes more of a factor as you regear and add lockers. That said many people (myself included) wheel the d30 on 35s no problems (so far) but I wouldnt throw money at locking a d30 or putting some crazy low gears in it.
