Default Jk gangsta lean

Hello all

I did a Terraflex 2.5 inch coil lift, and have the gangsta slouch to the passenger side.

Are there any coil lifts out there that this does not happen with? Thinking of switching out the coils if that's the case.

Thanks for your comments.

Did you replace your track bars? I have a RC 2.5 on mine and mine does that cuz I need a track bar bracket or a new track bar becuz my track bar is pulling down on my jeep.

It's the jk lean. you can usually see it with a full tank of gas specially if you have a four door

Installed my TF 2.5" coil lift right After Xmas and had the gangster lean on the back right side of my rig. Called TF and they said it is a common occurrence..could always throw a 1/2" coil spacer on..hope this helps

oh yes. i have done the lift the right way....adj trackbars front and rear, drag link flip, adj sway bar links, etc etc. thats why this is a pisser. this didnt lean with stock suspension, so the orig stock rubi springs on the passenger side were prob heavier duty than the driver side, to compensate for the weight of the gas....and just FYI, the trackbar wont pull the suspension down like this. The trackbar will pull the axle to the right or left. An adj trackbar allows you to recenter the axle.

Im going to have to give EVO, FT, and some other mfg a call. Im only hearing about this happening with the TF lifts....if anyone else has this with anothr mfgrs lift, please chime in...

I think it's the spring rate on different lift kits. Our Pro Comp leans.Other lift kits don't make your jeep lean.Maybe a heavier rate spring on the right side would cure this

My Rock Krawler leans. I've seen Full Traction, Superlift, Teraflex and Clayton all lean. Usually with a full tank.

Someone told me that most stock Jk's don't have the lean because the spring rates are adjusted accordingly from factory. I don't believe that since my old coils had the same numbering on them for the rears and for the fronts but who knows.

Half of the new JK's that I've seen bought by TeraFlex employees have a lean from the factory.

dojohnso: I'm curious as to why you installed a flipdrag link on this kit. Can you post a pic showing your steering geometry? Are your axles sitting dead center under your JK?

I had some jk lean after my 2.5 TF BB. I fixed mine by replacing the 2.0 spacer in the right rear with a 2.5. It drive me CRAZY! Much better now
