Default Jk lean...sag...whatever you call it...

I have a 4 inch RC lift installed and have been noticing the passenger rear side is about an inch, maybe more, lower than the driver sides. What are my options? Anybody have some simple instructions on how I can level er out? Thanks.

Default Compressed Spring

I had this exact issue. Took it in and they warranted the spring. In fact, they replaced all 4 springs. That's what it was for me... just a bad spring. They (Procomp) said sometimes it just happens...

Give them a call and explain your issue. They will definitely replace it.

This is a common issue with the JK. New springs may not fix the issue. They didnt for me. I had bought a set of Teraflex springs, mine sagged right from the get-go. I later swapped for a set of RE springs. Same thing. I fixed the issue with a spacer on top of the passenger front and passenger rear springs.

Good luck with your rig.

You should be able to go to your local 4WD parts place and get spacers. For the fronts, I have .5 on the driver side, 1 inch on the passenger side. For the rears, I have 1 inch on the driver side, 2 inch on passenger.

1. You may ask why I used a spacer on the driver side front: I needed to have a min 4 inch lift to do the drag link flip. SInce I had the 2.5 inch coil lift for a 4 door, it nets me about 3.5" of lift for my 2 door. So, I had to bump up another .5 to get me to the min lift height to do the drag link flip.

2. You may ask why I used a spacer on the driver side on the rear...due to the weight of the spare, and when Im fully loaded, I was not a fan of a lower rear end, so I needed a 1" spacer to compensate, to give me a bit of a forward rake.

As to ease of doing this yourself.....I dont know if you have proper tools or the mindset to work on your rig. You will need a floor jack, 4 jackstands, tools to drop your shocks, and disconnect everything so you can put the spacers on top of the coils. If you dont want to do it yourself, you can have a buddy or a shop do it. I do have the tools to do this, and so I did all that myself. Pretty simple job. Essentially, its the same as if your installing a budget boost. A budget boost is just placing spacers on top of the coils.

Hope that helps.
