Smile JK Limb Risers Finally Available

Hey all,

I just wanted to let you know that someone finally has a set of commercial Limb Risers for the JK. I don't have a mall crawler but that doesn't man I want to needless thrash my paint job.

I just ordered a set (available as of today) of Limb Risers from Kenny over at River Raider. They look like they will be very easy to add and won't stand out like a sore thumb when your just doing your daily driving.

For those of us that don't know, a Limb Riser is what?

its a steel cable that generally runs from front fender corner up to top of windshield. Guides limbs and branches up and over rather than dragging over your hood and windshiels.

I borrowed a few picts from USMCDOC14 who was lucky enough to see them.

I had these on my cherokee. They sure do their job well! The only gripe I have about them is that if the branches get cut on the wires (and they usually do)... its a pain in the ass to clean it and more sharp edges to scrape your roof. Also, I highly recommend you grease your wires before hitting the trail. It does make a big difference!

Been waiting for a set of these to come out for a while. Only concern is with them attached to the front of the hood, whether or not it will add to the hood lifting problem on the highway and all. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind.

I think limb risers look like crap........ Function is good though I guess if you go hunting alot and your afraid of scratching your jeep.
