JK Lower Front End
I have a new JK with a 2" suspension lift and 33" Goodyear MTR's. I'm a new Jeep owner and it seems that the front end sits lower.than expected. I had it in my mind that when I got the lift put on that it would have a much more aggressive level stance than this. Is there a way to get this leveled out. Body lift?, remove factory spacers in the rear? etc.

Hey CreepJeep,
The Jeep looks nice by the way especially in the snow. As for your question, I am currently running a 3.5 inch Skyjacker Lift with an additional 3/4 spacer in the front for this very same reason. With the weight of the engine and the additional components in the front you are going to see some sagging with most lifts.
If you plan on adding heavy bumpers or a winch I would suggest even a larger spacer maybe 1.5-2 inches depending on the weight of your mods, even larger springs, or larger lift.
It sounds as though a larger front spacer will give you what you want for now.

You can get spacers from Northridge 4x4 or a local source if you wish. Install isn't difficult and will probably take you 2-3 hours with hand tools. You will need to drop the axle low enough to insert the spacer. Good luck.

Any of them will show you the procedure for installing the front springs/spacers. You're just adding another spacer on top of your current springs. (or spacer, if it's a budget spacer lift) A bit of time and labor, but not too difficult. Unless you have no desire to work on your jeep and cash burning a hole in your pocket, do yourself a favor and do this yourself...

Disconnect swaybar links and shocks. Lower the axle from one side low enough to remove the spring. Add spacer ABOVE factory spring isolator. Replace spring. Same for the other side. Reinstall links and shocks. Practically, 1 hour job.
ok so heres to my first suspension mod. a front only 1.75 in coil spacer
im gonna get the 50.00 ones made by rubicon express
i have the jack that the jeep came with. and i can fashion some wheel stops out of various things
is it possible to install these with just these tools? can i just boost up one side on the frame and have someone pushdown on the axel till i can slip it in? i think it might b kinda thick 1 3/4 in.
or maybe 3 people pushing down on the axle im sure its kinda hard
