I currently have a 2009 jeep jk x and I want to regear to lower my Rpms on the freeway going uphill what gears do I need to fix this?

your going the wrong way...i think your problem is your trans downshifting and the rpm spike is freaking you out...turn the od off going up hills,this should fix your problem...
