Can someone recommend a remote start bypass for an 07 jk?
If you have an aftermarket remote start, what brand and model was it? T

I had a Avitol on my 08, no problem with the bypass. The local shop who does the install had them in stock. You should be able to find one easy enough.

This is the bypass used on my 08, with the Avitol which is made by Viper/Python, I would think your Jk would use the same. The bypass mounted under the dash and the antenna loop for the bypass was placed around the ignition key. You can see if this part # is what your looking for.

I went with Excalibur by Omega. I think the model is the RS-450-EDP. Kit came with the bypass. Paid under $200.

I was planning on adding CarLink so I could start/stop/windows up & down right from my iPhone, but this system has been so awesome on it's own! The remote is tiny and has a 1 mile range!

There are some great videos on YouTube regarding Omega that you should check out. You can also give them a shout or email to make sure that you are getting the correct bypass you need.
