Hello all,
Just finished installing Searchers mod to operate lockers in 2wd or 4hi. It just adds a switch to ground relays. The issue or question I have is when I active the lockers with the new switches, the locker indicator on the dash will flash slow as normal, then change to flashing faster? They never stay solid? Is this normal with the mod? Anyone have similar experience ? Is there a fix?

When you ground the locker relay with your switch, the locker moves to a position the computer has not requested. I believe that's why the light flashes.
I don't know about the change in flasher frequency, unless it's to elevate the warning's urgency.

 

This is exactly what happens and why. Annoying but not the end of the world.
