Default JK suspension?

I've been reading upon the jk for a bit....i am a noob thats for sure...i just got it 1 month ago....my idea is a teraflex jk 3" kift kit with shocks.
it readsThe teraflex 3" lift kit with shocks is perfect for running up to 35" tires (I'm going with the super swamper ssr radial 35 x 12.50 with a 15 or 16" rim havent decided yet.) and provides your jk with the increased articulation needed for tackling moderate trails. the kit includes 3" extended length coils, shocks, and front sway bar disconnects, and all the necessary hardware.

now my question lol is teraflex good oris there a better suspension someone would suggest this one is about $700 also i read that when u change the suspension that u might have to change the front disconnectiing sway bars it seems this one has it so thats good right? and also read something about with the bigger suspension and tires that i should change the gear ratio to 5.13 anyone have like a thread that covers this or any other strains that lifts and tires might put on my Rubicon.

and how will i know how stiff the suspension is before i buy it....my rubicon is fun offroad and rides good on the street anything out there like that?

I have the 3" Full Traction, I am sure the Teraflex is good too! You won't need the front disconnects since you have a Rubi with electronic disconnect. My FT lift had you put the longer rear links in the front(If you have a Rubicon) and they came with new ones for the back.

35's work without regearing but it is a little more sluggish on long freeway hills. I just turn off my overdrive and it's not bad. But you live in Florida so you may be okay. It's about $1000 to regear, so wait until you see if you need it. I would first put my money towards my lift first. Economy lifts make room for bigger tires but to get your stock ride back you may want to invest in some front upper and lower control arms. Just my $.02. I am sure others will agree though.

My sigline says Economy lift but I have since upgraded to the Ultimate.

Talk to Dave at Northridge 4x4 before you buy, they are sponsors here, he'll take care of you and help you with any questions you may have.

Your set up will look similar to mine.

Nice pic i check out that 3" ultimate its like $2000 right well i guess i got a lil more saving to do lol...what do places usually charge for installing a kit like that...i would like to work on it myself cant be too hard but i know i dont have any tools....so i have to save up for that and about another 1800 for tires and rims. I'm going with the super swamper ssr radials 35" x 12 x 16 i think and the mickey thompson classic II wheels

I am sure you could find a fellow Jeeper on this forum to help you. Eddie has the write-ups for it (I don't think they are up yet, but I am sure he is working on it)

You dont have to get it all at once either. That's the nice thing about it, you can just keep adding. Start out with the Econo lift and your front control arms, and the front adjustable track bar. Thats where most of the handling issues are. You can beef up the rear later!

Here is the right up for the Economy lift.
