Default jk valve stems help

Hey everyone it's come the time that going to put 35s on the jeep with new rims. Do I have to purchase new tpms units for each rim? Can I reuse the ones in my rims now. Or do I just put in regular valves in the ties and call it a day. Thanks everyone!

I just put regular ol valve stems in mine. I'll use the AEV primal to turn off the light eventually.

If the new rims are compatible with your sensors, they can be re-used.

If the new rims are not compatible, you can get new stems, then your current sensors can be banded onto the rims.

If you want to buy new sensors, you can, but not really a need to. Unless you want to keep them with the stock rims?

If you want to remove the sensors (because they can break easy offroad, and it gets expensive to keep replacing), you can go with normal stems and turn the light off with a programmer/tuner.

I have had two sets of the $50 for 5 from eBay and they are oem and work great. Not sure how you would break off road. I air down to 14psi and have never had a problem. I change my own tires and the sensors are set in such a way they would be hard to damage.

If you do get new sensors, make sure you get the correct frequency.

2012- 3.15 MHz
2013+ 4.33 MHz

Broke two in one trip, one on another trip the next month. Maybe I just got lucky...
