i was messing around with it connected, didnt think i needed to disconnect it

i found the replacement on jks' website $11.20 but $14.42 for shipping

Yup pretty sure mine was due to stress of mild off-roading without disconnecting. That is the problem with stainless steel, a bit more brittle, less tough. Would expect them to be as strong as stock but not the case. I ended up making a coupe of temp rubber bushes and using a bolt as a fix until the replacement arrived.
