Default jks quicker discos...

Does anyone completely remove these when wheeling? Or do you bungee it to the sway bar? Any help appreciated....

Default Jks quick discos

Every time I go out I usually pull them completly off and rotate the sway bar up out of the way. What is your concerns?

Usually I just leave the links on and strap them to the sway bay. It's a lot faster and I don't have to mess with trying to bolt them back on (I'm using my rear links in the front)

I just got my JKS quicker disconnects, but I plan on taking them completely off.

Be careful rotating them up out of the way, you can puncture your tire at full stuff, they are supposed to remain in a neutral position.

So if you're using JKS disconnects taking them completely off and keeping the sway bar neutral is the way to go? My concern is exactly as he posted... I don't want anything loose to puncture, rub or be flying around by any means.. Going on some serious stuff tomorrow that is all...

Hey, what would happen if you took just one side off and left the other side on? Wouldn't that be similar to what the auto disconnect on the Rubicon essentially does?

It takes 20s to disconnect them completely. Pull four pins, pull out the disco's, wrap a bungee around the frame in a neutral position. (My bungees are pretty loose, and the bar stays in that spot.) You're done, and safe. Spend 10s and get iffy results.

I completely remove mine, the first few times I was worried about the sway bar getting in the way but it hasn't happened yet.
