Same here, Dave was explaining to me that it's completely flat along the top to work with the kit.

My JKS track bar broke in the same place, and I lost the ability to steer just after exiting off the freeway. Replaced mine with a solid bar from a different manufacturer.

Just to give an update,

JKS replaced the bar, and man is the new one beefy. I don't know what version it is, but it sure looks like it will do the job.

THanks for the comments guys.

Does anyone know if the 3rd or 4th Generation JKS TB is any longer than the 2nd generation?

There was a discussion on the shorter length of the newer trackbars vs the original "hoop" TB here --->> https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...=1#post1836742

Default JKS Customer Service

I recently tried to adjust my original JKS front track bar and it seized. I contacted JKS and long story short told me cut the old one in half email a pic and I received my new one within 2 weeks. It is at least 50% thicker. They have the best customer service of any company I have ever dealt with and the products are great.

I would recommend JKS to anyone.

Just wanted to bump this up to give it up to JKS. My trackbar broke in the same place as the OP and when I called and told them about it they offered to send me their new generation. I installed it yesterday and couldnt be happier. That thing is one solid piece of steel. Stand up company
