Default JKUR E disconnects question

I recently purchased a 08 JKUR with E- Disconnects. I'm not crazy about them to say the least. I have to get out of the vehicle and shake it side to side to get it to disconnect. I'm considering not using it. Maybe going to a manual quick disconnect. Maybe even a rock jock. Looking for input or input/advice.

Second. On my front axle lock the wire has been pued loose at the connector clip. Can I just wore them together Instead of ordering or trying to find the matching plastic clip??

When I push the button you can hear it trying to engage. But I have to rock the jeep to get the light to quit flashing and to fully engage. Plus my sway bar is at a bad angle. It's not level, it's actuly upward. Maybe my
RK discos are too long

Yeah might have to do with longer links, are you trying to engage it on uneven ground or on the street?

The long links shouldn't matter now that I think about it, but might have junk inside of it, or the unleveled ground.

I just recently had to pull my case apart due to the bar not re-engaging. The motor/plunger was working fine but the coupler and shaft were completely rusted and corroded. cleaned everything up and packed to marine grease around all mating parts and its back to working fine. I think long term I want to ditch the e-swaybar and simply go with quick disconnect links.

Having to rock the Jeep to get the bar to re-engage is normal. It will engage only when the master splines line up.
I don't rock mine. I just drive and when the splines line up, it will engage.
