Default jmatta33's build thread

Ok, so I've had the Jeep a few weeks now and I have already started the build so I figured I should get on here and post everything up before it gets too far into the build lol. Initially, a lot of the work I had to do was repairing the dash and HVAC and a few other things here and there because it was a salvage title Jeep that had been "rebuilt". So after getting all that crap fixed, I started with removing the carpet and floor lining with tough liner. I lined the entire tub as well as the hard top rails on the back (see pictures below).

I have also decided to armor my Jeep in all Poison Spyder Customs equipment. Below is a list of everything that I plan to use in the build:

PSC Crusher Flares Front (installed)
PSC Crusher Flares Rear (installed)
PSC Rocker Knockers (will be reinstalled once the body armor is installed)
PSC Body Armor (needs to be installed)
PSC B- Pillar plates (needs to be installed)
PSC Rear Crush Corners (will purchase soon)
PSC Tramp Stamp (installed)
PSC Hood Louver (still undecided on this as I may do a different hood all together once I do my 6.4 swap)
PSC LED Light bar mount (to be purchased)
PSC BFH Front/Rear Bumpers (to be purchased)

Once the up armor is complete, next I plan to remove the OEM roll cage and go with the Genright Off Road full cage set up. I have the invoice already, just need to sweet talk my wife into letting me pull the trigger lol.

Next on the list after that is the 6.4 Hemi swap. I'm hoping to have this in the works spring 2015. I will be pretty much tapped out once i finish the armor and roll cage.

After the Hemi Swap, Coilover suspension and wheels/tires. Still on the fence about who to go with on the coil overs but I have time to figure it out.... at any rate, here are pictures of her as she sits now. I will continue to update as progress is made CHEERS Click image for larger version

yeah. i wasnt planning to bedline at all, but I lined the door jams before and the paint lines would have been off and very noticable so i decided to bedline all of it. I sprayed the underside of the body armor and the flares with rubber seal coating instead of buying the rubber seals or cutting my own. much easier for the install and its permanent. the only problem with bedlining after was trying to keep it all out of the spyder logo. outside of that it worked out very well in my opinion.
