I removed mine after marking the original location with thin strips of painters tape. Then I sanded and painted mine and then reinstalled using molding tape.

but what did you use to get the plasti dip from the middle of the letters out? Does it just peel right out?

Yes, I used a toothpick to get it out.

Just started using plastidip this week so I'm not a pro. Once it dries doesn't it stay in one piece and make removing it from inside the letters very difficult?

Just curious the process you used. I'm trying to perfect getting clean lines around keyholes and such. Taking off the tape while the stuff is still wet seems to work best for me.

Wherever there is a "seam" or "break in the lines" such as around the trail badge or logo, the excess will pull off without pulling off the part you want to stay on. It's hard to explain but look on YouTube, there are A LOT of videos of plasti dipping emblems and other stuff.

If you're referring o the grill inserts, yes, they are DIY using gutter guard, zip ties, bases & 2 part epoxy. $30-$40

It's not hard to do, but takes some time.

There is a "how to" thread with pics if you use the search function. "DIY gill mod"
