2 questions,first has anyone put Johnny Joints on their stock control arms?Second has anyone built their own control arms using Johnny Joints?

No. If you are going to go to the trouble of cutting off your stock control arm ends and welding on a flex joint, you would want to use heavier tubing than stock arms.

Yes. People build their own arms all the time. However, the JK control arms do need some unusual bends to allow tire clearance. So, at least for short arm (stockish length) links, most people buy them built.
