Just Lifted
I just recently lifted my 07 Wrangler X, and since doing so, my ride has become a little wild at times! It seems to wander or maybe sway in the lanes of the road! And if you have to brake real hard for some reason, you better be holding on!!!
The lift is 3 1/2" Skyjacker Econo lift, so it's was only shocks and springs. My question is this....what else might I want to add or do to solve my problem? I know more expensive kits come with a lot more components, but it just wasn't in my budget. Are there things I should add on as I can afford it? And what should I add first?

Try to loosen the front track bar, rock the jeep on level ground, and then retighten to 125ft/lbs. If that doesn't help, then lower front adjustable control arms might be in your future. JKs get squirrelly in the front over 3" at times without additional parts.
As you raise the frame off the axel you lose horizontal length in all the components that run between them. Your track bar centers your axel side to side so lifting and keeping stock shifts the axel to the drivers side. This is pretty critical or you will wear out your tires quickly.
Stock length control arms on a lift rotates your axel reducing positive castor causing a shopping cart wheel effect on the front and in the back twists your drive shaft. Adjustable upper control arms are needed to correct this. These are critical to keep your front wheels tracking straight and to set your rear pinion angle to save your shaft.
Lowers would allow you to center the axel in the fenders as your lift drags it back towards the middle, not as critical as caster angle or pinion.

There's quite a few things you will need with that much lift some sooner then others. First I would get front lower control arms, front track bar and rear track bar bracket. The lower control arms will address your steering feed back/ flightiness. After this if you have driveshaft vibration you will need rear upper control arms (affects 2 doors greater) other wise extended brakelines especially if you plan to disconnect. This should get you started in the right direction.
Additionally, you will have to consider (depending on type of terrain mall crawler - rock crawler) driveshafts, gussets, gears, spare tire carrier if bigger then 33 and the list never ends

Loosen up your front control arm/trackbar bolts, they rock the JK back and forth some. They torque everything down to spec will it's sitting on the tires. Make sure your tires are around 28-32 psi also.
I do need to check my air pressure in my tires! Haven't done that since they were installed. Will try the track bar suggestion also. Maybe that will help till I can spend some more money!
