Default Just looking at evolution's powdercoated 18" wheels...

First off, I think the powdercoating looks fantastic, and really gives the stock wheel a great new look as an alternative to spending the $$$ on new wheels.

I wonder how they'd look with an argent finish like AEV's Bridger, or a gun-metal finish?

I'm seriously considering doing this on my black Sahara Unlimited (if it ever arrives).

Anybody have any pics of argent or gun-metal powdercoated wheels?

Adam

Sounds great! I'm in Calgary... Alberta... Canada... do you guys have a satellite shop in my neighborhood?

Thanks for the offer though... curious, have you guys powdercoated the 18s in anything other than black? I'd like to see what the stock wheels look like in this color:

I think that would be very very cool on a black Sahara Unlimited... can you do up a set of those just for show??? please?

It's not much-- probably between $15-$30/wheel is my guess. If you are in SoCal, you should definitely contact Mel at Off-Road Evolution (see above post). I had my diff covers powdercoated through him and they came out looking great

Hey doojer,
What size are those Toyo's on those powdercoated wheels? If I'm not mistaken my stock 18's are 7.5" wide right? I am new to the off-road world and would like to know the choices I have in aftermarket tires on my stock rims, b/c I love the stock 18's. I was thinking of just powercoating the outer 5 "star" area black and leaving the inner portion silver. Just a thought, but back to the tires, can I run a 12.50 on a 7.5" rim? Is it safe?
Sorry for the NOOB question.
Thanks,
Justin
