Default Just my luck....

OK, so I ordered my lift from David @ Northridge4x4 , should be here Monday or Tuesday. Basically the OME HD however, I got the Teraflex 3" springs. Gotta be just a little differrent I guess.

Anyway, I was on a jobsite yesterday and encountered a beligerent employee who was asked repeatedly to either wear the required safety equipment (hard hat and safety glasses) or leave the site. He cursed and told me he didn't have to listen to me. When I called another Foreman of the primary contractor for assistance in having this person removed from the site, he responded quickly and asked him to leave. As the person began walking to the gate with the other Foreman, I was sucker punched from behind by the individuals brother. He hit me so freaking hard on the right side of the jaw that not only is right side broken, the driving force shattered the front of the jaw (chin) into many pieces.

I did file a police report and hopefully he will be arrested soon.

Unfortunately, I have to spend all weekend in extreme pain and have surgery scheduled at UNC Chapel Hill on Monday morning.

Needless to say, I will be unable to install my lift when it arrives.

Man that sucks!!! I can't stand guys that don't have the balls to stand toe to toe. Happened to me at a highschool dance years and years ago. Every time I see the guy that did it I want to tear his head off. Ive gotten a little self control over the years. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Just remember, What goes around comes around. He'll get his one day.

^ x 2. Praying for a speedy recovery. When all things are done, post some pics of your lift.

+1 sue for pain and suffering + time lost from work and have that dick pay for your lift and then some.

Anyway, on a more serious note, get well quick. I'm no where near you, but I think it'd be pretty cool if some forum members go together and installed your lift while you were recovering!

Sorry to hear about the broken jaw. On the bright side,

Having something to look forward too while in pain/ sick is great medicine. The power of distraction works well. I can't think of many things better to dream about while under the knife than a lifted Jeep.

Best wishes with the surgery and wait till you’re done with the pain killers before you try to put the JK up on the jack stands.

and since everyone is sue happy, I figure if the doc even looks at you funny sue him too.. no only kidding
