Default just relocated rear spring mounts

started a post on this awhile back, when I changed rear diff angle for driveline upgrade my rear springs wound up curved and rear spring rate way too soft, finally got around to cutting off and re-welding rear spring mounts, was a cakewalk to do,took about 3 hours, now rear suspension feels great and springs nice and straight.fairly easy mod for those with decent welding experience and the ability to remove and install rear springs, highly recomend this to any of you with similar issues since changing pinion angle

This obviously is the before pic, didn't take any when did work but can update with "after" photo if anyone interested

I am interested.

I thought of this but I don't weld... so I am thinking of asking the shop that did the install to do this same thing.

Great idea, makes me wish I had my shop open already so I could have a welder to learn on.

I just planned out new location, lifted and supported rear of jeep, removed rear springs, used angle and straight die grinders with 3" "zip discs"to cut factory welds, rewelded with mig,I was lazy and didn't remove dif mount track arm relocation bracket so access was tight on left side. Now that I know I am happy with results(did a week ago sunday)am going to strengthen up a bit with bigger gussets and finish off some other welding that needs to be done

NOTICE SPRING NO LONGER RUBBING ON TRACKBAR

anyone have experiance with these as I do not think they would be trustworthy off road as hard core crawling and articulation may spin that u bolt around no matter how tight you make it. I think even with those you would want to tak it in place. your thoughts.

It looks like your bump stop on the axle could use relocating as well.
