I just purchased an '08 JK Unlimited X, completely stock. I am trying to figure out what lift and tires to put on. I have considered a 3-3.5" lift with some 35-12.50R17s, but now I feel like I would only end up wanting to go bigger, so I'm looking at a 4" Teraflex lift w/ Fox Racing Shocks and 37-12.50R17 BFG KM2s. Thoughts?

looks like you've done your homework as both setups would be a good choice. if you can afford to spend more, i would go bigger.

If your contemplating between 35s vs 37s go with 37s. You may want to re enforce your front D30 axle with some sleeves and weld on gussets. Don't forget to regear to 5.13s to help pull those big meats...

I've been crunching the numbers heavily for the past couple weeks. I may actually come out a little cheaper going with the 4" TF option with the Fox Shocks, basically running me all together around $3600, if my math is correct...
