K&N Filter
Will I notice a difference if I replace the stock filter and put in a K&N Setup.. Or is this just pissing money away. I want to get a little better performance out of the V6.
Haven't tried it but here is one thread where it was discussed:

I heard that the only way you can really tell is on a dyno. But I feel they pay for themselves because they are washable and reusable. I have stock now but plan on getting one at next oil change.
They make a "recharger" kit that includes a cleaner and air filter oil.

Personally I would go with the Airaid CAI instead of the K&N. Its a little better if I remember correctly. A bunch of guys here who bought CAI's bought Airaid.
The K&N is pretty good though. I have one on my 81 Camaro. I could notice a difference on the Camaro and the ability to clean it instead of replace it is also a nice feature
