K&N filter??? Good or bad?

Default K&N filter??? Good or bad?
I just installed my filter, but just read up a little on them.

Apparently some people prefer the paper filter instead of the oil-system of the k/n.
What's everyone's opinion?

The oiled filters are fine. They key is when cleaning them to allow the oil to dry thoroughly before installing and not over oiling. I run a k&n as well

Ok,but just so I don't keep doubting myself, the big side of the filter goes towards what side?
