Default KC Light question

I just installed a new bumper on my jeep and lost my factory fog lights because of this. I'm thinking of ordering some KC Lights, (KC HiLiTES 152 Apollo Pro 6") but i would like to use the factory switch. I do not want to plug the lights directly into the stock wiring because it is not tested for 100w, Is there a way to use the factory switch without using the factory power wiring? (If that makes any sense?)

You should be able to take the lead for the switch that comes from the relay and hook them up to the stock wires so when you turn the lights on with the factory switch they work

I just cut the plugs off the jeep and the light, then just connect the wires. Always worked for me in every vehicle I've ever owned. I had 130watt kc daylighters on my Sahara jku spliced just like that and I just did the same with a set of piaas for my dad's truck too

Just wire the lights up like you would in the directions they give you and use your factory wire to engage the relay.

Like others have said let your fog light switch turn on the relay and then the relay feeds the high current to the lights. I normally use the terminal at the alt for my hot source and then just use a nearby ground or go to the batt neg terminal if there is a free bolt .
