Default Kelly Tire Safari TSR

I found a deal on craigslist for 315x12.50r17 and decided to pull the trigger. Tires have a fairly agressive tread pattern. I was previously running Micket Thompson Baja MTZs in 33s. Mounted these Safaris are a solid 2" taller.

They ride way smoother on the road with way less noise than the MTZs. They felt lighter as well lifting them in and out of the JK. I need to chalk the tires to find the right air pressure but the on road feel is night and day. I do not see many people running this tire or brand so figured it might be a consideration for others buying tires. Also I had to pick up a 5th to run a full spare and new it ran me $215. Cheaper than most 35s.

It is a D range.

I will get pictures later today after this storm passes and I can get my camera

I was looking at the 315 75 16's on ebay in this tire. I think it is pretty much the Goodyear Duratrac with a little different center lug design and the Kelly name. If i'm correct, i think Goodyear produces Kelly tires or both companies were affiliated at some time or still are. But i could be wrong. I'm not sure. I just wish they made more sizes. I was thinking of doing the 315 75 16's. Lets see some pics. How do they ride?

Kelly tires are made by Goodyear as an off-brand, lesser expensive option. The other reason these tires might seem smoother is that the TSRs (I believe) are an All Terrain tire and not Mud Terrain.

It may be all terrain but it has just as much a mud pattern as a lot of mud tires. It seems more aggressive than the duratracs.

Pictures and measurements coming soon.

They do seem to be a little more aggressive than the Duratracs. Its a nice tire for the in between guy. I think i'm going to run them. But i've changed my mind 100 times now on what direction i'm going. I need 20 JK's to do what i want to do and set them up each way i like. haha.

Heres some pics. Need to let out air tonight. The rim lip protector is a nice idea. These tires might be hard to beat for the price. I will give a review after Raush Creek and 1k road miles

This is there allterrain the fierce attitude is the MT they offer which is almost the same tread pattern as the duratrac. I have not heard much on the AT but the MT is getting very popular around these parts due to there smooth ride and excellent off road traction

Do you have pics of it. They must not sell it in the US. The only aggressive tire they list is the TSR
