Thanks for all the props guys. I'm really stoked on the success of this kit, and it's really due to this forum and its members.

I do have a temporary website up. You'll need a username and password to logon on.

Wade, (KB7our), I have received several PM's from you and one about the Evap Can (other ones about running 33" tires with a 2"BB). I show that I PM'd you back around Jan 6th. So, not sure what's up with the PM's, but no matter. Here's my email address: Brett@4XFiXdotcom (be sure to replace the "dot" with a ".")

Robar, thanks for the heads up on this thread.

While I've been able to keep up with demand, I'm in process of starting my first real production run. When this production run is finished, I'll ask WOL to post up a press release for me becoming a sponsor and I'll open up my online store. Meanwhile I'm trying to not get in over my head with orders. That's the reason that you have to logon to the website.

If you have an interest in the Evap Can Relo kit, check out the Steering Stabilizer kit also. It's $19.95 and there's no additional shipping when purchased with the Evap Can Relo Kit.

From what I can tell, they basically go in the same spot. The woods kit requires you to modify the stock evap mounting bracket. The one side gets cut off. The Kilby kit looks like you get a whole new bracket. As far as I can tell that is the only major difference.

There's also a major hardened plate between the ground and the cannister on the Kilby.

Hey seer1, doesn't the new location of the EVAP put it just above the axle? If so, wouldn't the axle keep the cannister protected from the ground?

Ah, ok. Thanks Seer1. I thought that piece went on top of the EC, like a new mounting plate. I never actually saw the kilby installed. I just saw the pics of the kit, so I was guessing.

I've never seen the Kilby kit, but from what I gather it uses a metal plate to support the Evap Can from underneath. The plate is held in place with bolts that attach to the frame rails.

My kit is a bit more invasive. It uses an adapter plate to modify the factory Evap Can mount bracket. You then bolt this to the bottom of the JK floor, just in front of the rear storage tub. The reason that I consider my kit a bit more invasive is that you must drill 4 holes in the floor of the JK. You can find more info. on my website.

Oh, and I think my kit costs a lot less

Edit: sorry a little slow and redundant on this....

I filed the burrs off and then used some touch up paint.

This is an excellent point, WOL. Woods' EVAP relocation kit is just that: relocation. Moving the EVAP cannister up above the rear axle physically protects the cannister from trail hazards. Woods thinks his kit is more invasive, but the required holes are small, the hardware used is top notch, and if you simply file the holes and apply paint, then you're good to go.

Kilby JK-EV $129.95 (Plus shipping)
Woods EV Kit (Forum Members) $49.95 (Plus shipping)

So, you could get the EVAP kit AND the Steering Stabilizer relo kit and still have $60 left over.
