As already said. The Nittos are NOISY. However, I'll buy them again.

BY the way I have 35k on my Nittos. They have worn great. Just noisy.

KM2's are the only way to go. The Nitto's are good but not for a daily driver. Too loud and don't where well with heavy highway use. I have km2's and a buddy has mud grappler's, they both have nearly the same miles, but mine are in much better shape.

Me too. And they're made in the USA. I don't know if BFG KM2 tires are.

I thought they were made in Japan.

Well i currently have Nittos, and have had them for 15k miles. They are a bit loud i guess but i like the noise If i were to buy again...would NOT be the grapplers. They looks sick dont get me wrong, but i just dont like them... something about them over time i just dont like them. My mom actually has KM2's on her tahoe and when we ride with her you cant even hear them or feel a difference at all in the ride. (of course they are only 32's on stock rims so it shouldnt be that big a difference either way)

But anyway, if you ask me...My vote... KM2

Have had both. Just like the general opinion on here. The Nittos are great off road, mud & snow and such, but WAY noisey. The KM2's are much more civil as a daily driver.

I've got 35" KM2's on my 4dr and was out with an FJ with Nitto MG's this past weekend in Moab. The first day we both were at 20 psi. The second day I was at 15 and he was at 17. After watching my wife climb up some difficult obstacles and them him climb up the same I don't think I'd run the MG's if they were given to me. He spun his tires a lot more and always seemed to have less traction (even when his tires were on the ground - which is a challenge on an FJ). I got the impression that the rubber composition is too hard. In addition he said they road hard on the road and were noisy but that they did get good tread life mileage. Tread life is the least of my concerns.

Who knows what will come down the pike in the future; but right now I think the KM2 is the pick of the litter.

I had the Nitto Mud Grapplers and when I upgraded my tire size I went with the KM2's.

I like the KM2's way better than the mud grapplers.. They are not loud and have a nice ride on pavement.
