I just got down building up a rubi 44 housing.

Artec truss, lcas, C's and shock plates.
Nitro sleeves
Arb locker with diff cover
Synergy ball joints
4.88 Yukon gears
Reid knuckles with DL flip
RCV 35 spline shafts
Upgraded the drag link, tie rod, and track bar

Now aside from the upgraded parts, I paid $90 an hour for welding labor due my welder crapping out. 3 hours to weld the truss, skids and C's. Now I prepped all the areas and all they needed to do was fuse metal.

I pounded the sleeves in myself, which was super easy after freezing them and putting a sock filled with oil ahead of the sleeve. No need to weld them, maybe around the end of the axle of they move but they haven't or won't. Theory behind this was you want a stronger axle, how does drilling 50 holes make it stronger?

Now i did pay about $1400 for parts, labor and lockers installed F&R along with the air lines ran and plumbed.

Over all, I spent about a little under $5k and have two solid axles under my rig. More then I could have done if I just went with a single prorock.

Don't think I've taken any since I finished but I'm very happy!

I'd get a ball joint only quote and ask on our board for some welding labor. That's GOTTA be cheaper and there are some really good welders locally on there.
