Default Larger Tires... 3.21

Yes, it's been beat to death. I know... I'm sorry...

Question though: Is it the larger diameter that kills your performance? Or the added weight??? Or both?

(reason I ask is because I may go wider on the tires than I planned... Wider=more weight...)

Anybody know where I can get the weight specs for BFG tires? I didn't see it on their website (but I've been known to be blind)

I read somewhere on here that it was the weight of the tire and something about velocity

wieght = rotational force interia

larger dia decreases the gear ratio to turn

so all in all same size tire with added wieght will icrease stopping distance with additional force needed to turn ( think of pulling a trailer ) factor in with larger tire giving you a higher ratio increases the effort required but does not play with stopping
