I have one more for you that a lot of people leave out. Loosen all of you control arms and track bar bolts before you start. When your done put it on the ground, bounce it around to settle everything, and then retorqe them. Having them in a bind and fighting their new home can cause DW. CM

I would not remove all 4 wheels. If you are working on the passenger side front (for example), remove the passenger side tire, disconnect the sway bar (both sides) and remove the lower shock bolt.

Then, lower the side you are working on. The tire will keep one side high and as you droop the side you are working on, the spring just comes out! This trick works for the front.

After you put the spacer on, a crow bar does help get the spring back over the spring perch.

There are different ways to approach this work. I always work on one axle at a time and It is much easier for me with both wheels off, but I have plenty of tools 4 full size jack stands and a good floor jack.

I installed a 2.5 BB yesterday and I'm sure your install will be very similar to mine. Advice I have that isnt in the direction is before lowering the axle with your floor jack unbolt the brake lines on both sides. Even with everything still attached on the opposite side the axle will drop far enough to strain the brake lines. Also. When doing the front, their is a bracket holding the brake line to the spindle unbolt that one as well and you will have plenty of room to do what you have to do. Good luck.

Unbolting the rear lines from the frame wont do anything for you since they are a solid metal line, you need to just take the caliper off. Also the easiest way to deal with the parking brake cables is to take them out from the line bracket on the bottom of the tub. Taking the s hook out near the caliper wont really do anything.

I did not loosen the trac bar or the control arms and have no problems with DW.

As far as spraying the rear springs you really only need to spray the inside diameter of both the teraflex spacer and factory isolator. so that the teraflex fits over the part on the frame easily and then the factory one fits over the teraflex easier. One thing I did notice was that if you assemble the the factory piece on the teraflex piece then put it on the spring then put the spring in place it was a little easier.

Those instructions are good but they can definitely be added too, especially if you're not used to turning a wrench.

Default Thanks!

Thank to you good fella the installation is done. I love it.
Everything went good. Well except putting rear springs back together. I did not have enough elbow strength to pop the 1" TeraFlex spacer in place. This is with lots of grease. So this is what I did:
- Took factory rear isolators off again
- Left new spacers in
- Put springs back on
- Aligned spacers to where they should go
- Raised the axle !!!
Both spacers popped in with a loud bang. Then I lowered axle again and put factory isolator between spacers and springs.
