least amount of lift for 37's?
Well the title pretty much says it all what is the least amount of lift i can have and still put 37's on it?? i was thinking 2.5" coil lift and 1" M.O.R.E. body lift but what do i know.

Running 37s and lift height really depends on what ride quality you are looking for? how much up travel you desire? and if you mind rubbing of cutting fenders ?

LMAO! i love EVO's response! but yeah, 37's are attainable with the 2.5" lift and 1" bl, but you'll likely need to trim your fenders or go to aftermarket flats as well. you may still have some rubbing offroad but i'm not 100% sure. i know planman knows the ins and outs of this process, so maybe he'll chime in and give the specifics. i too am interested in hearing the verdict here
Mopar fit 40s on the "Lower 40" concept with no lift, correct? So, basically, anything is attainable, but you'll need to cut corners or make modifications other places, the less lift you go with. Things such as flat fenders required, maybe trimming of sheetmetal seems, etc.
A 3.5" and some flats would probably be a good combo, as has been suggested. Otherwise (if you want to remain stock fenders and don't trim much) you probably want a little more than that even? 3.5" with 1" BL or one of the 4" premium lift kits (AEV?).

I think the point made about the concept of "Fit" being variable is a good one.
For example, if all of your TIRE clearance is via a suspension lift, where does that extra room go when you compress the suspension, say going over a rock or a bump, braking, cornering, etc?
Is it going to go to the same place that the lap of the fat man sitting in his in the speedo went when he stood up?
I think it will.

Adding a 1" BL for example means that you just made room for a 2" larger diameter tire...
...so, essentially, if a 35" tire were to clear the wells with a given amount of lift, the 37" tire would clear with the same amount of lift and a 1" BL.
It would also mean that with a 2" BL, you gain enough room for a 4" larger diameter tire than you would with no BL....
...So with a 2" BL, you could fit 37" diameter tires with the lift that would have allowed 33" tires....
....and so forth.
So, essentially, if ALL you want is TIRE clearance, the BL is the most cost effective solution, shy of a sawzall, flatties, etc. (IE: Comparing SL to BL only...)
If you ALSO want the option of more articulation, ground clearance for the frame (Over the clearance provided by the larger tires...), etc...then an SL works for you too....but, you need MORE SL to get the same TIRE clearance as a BL, except at ride height, where its giving you the same thing.
