If it's a flashing light, that is true. Most LED's run at half the ampage of normal bulbs.

I ordered some 3157-xLX3 from here:

superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=CAR

They have a "load resistor kit" I can order if the turn signal flashes too fast:

superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html

I'll let you know how it turns out. If I can control myself, I'll just do one side at a time and take a picture after dark for comparison. :-)

Deep sea diver, your nuts. I have middle ear damage so 6 feet it feels like someone has a needle in my ear drum. My buddy is a EOD tech, what a nut!

Yeah, I'm a Navy puke. AM1, 9yrs, 3rd tour. I think I'll be doing another 10, have to make my mind up soon. Plus, I have yet to see the boat and hope to keep it that way. Gotta love the P-3 orion. Shore duty blows, I need to get back overseas soon! PER-DIEM!

Yeah, really, there is a big time demand for an LED taillight!

Default PUTCO Led premium replacement bulbs

I was searching for leds for my 2009 jk and came across this site. I am wondering if I change all my oem bulbs would I have to install resisitors or do these type of bulbs not require them?

Thanks
